Moldmax HH

detalhe

Description

Non-Ferrous Copper Alloy-Beryllium. It possesses a hardness equivalent to conventional tool steels but combining a thermal conductivity of 4 to 6 times higher. It has as its main applications the inserts and cavities of moulds for injection and blowing of plastics. Its high hardness allows for high durability in applications where other alloys fail. Given its resistance to seizing it is used in movements of the same non-ferrous alloy or steel. Being a non-ferrous low friction alloy, it is often used in machine organ applications.

Main applications

  • Molding elements
  • Injection moulds and hollows of plastic injection moulds
