Description

Chrome-nickel-molybdenum stainless steel, non-temperable, austenitic and amagnetic logo. Good oxidation resistance up to 850 °C, although it should only be applied up to 300 °C due to intergranular corrosion. The addition of molybdenum increases the mechanical strength of this steel in addition to improving corrosion resistance for chlorinated and non-oxidizing media. The hardness of this material cannot be altered by hardening treatment. It is easy to weld and requires no pre or post heat treatment, good machinability and suitable for deep drawing due to excellent elongation. Corrosion resistance increases the better the polishing. Very suitable for applications on the coast.
