In this context, we would like to highlight the ongoing investment in the ‘Drivolution Agenda’ project, whose main objective is to promote the development of a manufacturing plant of the future prepared to respond to the emerging challenges of the energy transition and digital transformation in the automotive sector.
Essentially aimed at the automotive industry, this project includes a series of research and development initiatives for new products, processes or services (PPS), organised into 21 work packages that will result in 12 new PPS.
The initiative is based on strategic pillars for the industrial modernisation of the sector, such as digitalisation, Industry 5.0, safety and ergonomics at work, materials and specialised technical and digital training. The aim of this strategic vision is to accelerate the industry's digital transition, strengthening its competitiveness in the global market.
At the same time, this investment also translates into an evolution of the manufacturing model, providing it with greater safety and better working conditions for employees, thus enabling environmental and economic benefits.
