Moldmax XL

detalhe

Description

Non-ferrous copper (non-hardened) alloy with good thermal conductivity, toughness, wear resistance and excellent surface finish (high gloss). It has a hardness comparable to AISI P-20 but with a thermal conductivity 3 times higher. With excellent machinability it is the ideal alternative to copper-brass alloys when it is desired to obtain a compromise between thermal performance, drastic reduction of the times of manufacture of the tools and consumption of cutting tools and resistance to wear. It has as its main applications: plasters, cavities and extractors of injection moulds for plastics.
