Description

Reconstructed ESR steel specially developed by Uddeholm for the best possible performance. From the chemical composition to the manufacturing process with the most advanced technology, it has an extraordinary range of properties. The combination of exemplary tenacity with excellent heat resistance allows exceptional performance with thermal fatigue resistance and extraordinary cracking. Recommended for hot working applications such as injection moulding of light alloys, forging and extrusion, it can however, due to its properties, have other applications which result in an increase in tool life, such as injection moulding of plastics and machinery parts.
